Hexagonal, square and rectangular apertures are particularly suited to housing birds due to the comfortable shapes and sizes which are ideal for perching and climbing.

Be sure to specify post galvanized bird mesh as this will ensure the maximum durability due to its resistance to corrosion.

High quality aviary wire mesh is manufactured using only smooth metal strands. Be sure to look for aviary mesh that is tightly wound and securely welded with no barbs or nicks in the joints or wire which would snag or cut a bird’s foot.

Hot dipped galvanised welded mesh

Hot dipped, galvanized welded wire mesh is ideally suited for use in medium duty cages and aviaries as well as enclosures housing small to medium sized parrots, medium sized softbills, doves, pigeons, ducks and pheasants as well as most small primates. A wire gauge of 1.6mm with an aperture of 13mm X 25mm is ideal. Rolls are available in standard lengths of 30m and in widths of 910mm, 1230mm and 1830mm.
